How about writing to Channel V and bringing back Simpu Singh? I am ready to create FB groups, Orkut communities, send out chain mails and file petitions online. I will do anything (virtual) to get him back.
For the uninitiated Simpu Sodhi is/was a Channel V character that they created way back in 2000 for their shows. It is modeled after a sikh teacher and he is simply awesome.
Simpu Sodhi is all you can want in a person. He is a grown up. He is a kid. He is charming. He is innocent. He is intelligent. He has a temper. He is sensitive towards cute school kids that look more like micelings... He is Simpu Sodhi. Like No Other.
PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK SIMPU SODHI. Can some marketing whiz help me promote the cause and get some media attention?
He certainly makes it to my list of favorite fictional characters that includes Homer Simpson (of Homer Simpson fame), Michael Corleone (of Godfather fame), Jack Bauer (of 24 fame) and Udham Singh (again Channel V).

Finally !
I would like to thank DeeFeePee for FINALLY taking the initiative and starting the website ... well blog (Note to DeeFeePee : You bitch, next time you make a lot of noise about starting a website, go put you head in a beehive ... and then put aftershave lotion on ur face to improve fragrance!).
It has been a great journey so far (romantically speaking). Just the census on the name for the prospective website brought to light, the extreme creativity of the people on this group. Here's a list of the multitude of options we had to consider from :

... on second thought, mume.com could've had a whole new flavour with an extra 'm' and 'y' thrown in !!!
and so on.......
Anyways, as my first contribution to the blog, I present what i find abundantly on the streets of Ludhiana.
Spiderman Sex Dolls !!!
Now obviously you could argue that these are just innocent inflated toys for kids. But what you'd fail to explain later on, is what would a kid possibly do with a toy in that posture. Think about it. And then people complain about media spoiling their kids ! To the trained eye it is very obvious as to what lies.
Now if I really had to choose (well OK, I'd be happy to choose since living in this shit hole does kinda make one ... lonely), then I'd go for the red one. The black one looks kinda tired and .. well .. spent. The red one looks all geared up to go !
Other interpretations are welcome.
